David Muirhead
The Palazzo Hotel. The Beverly Hills Hotel. 54 on Bath. Interior architecture across South Africa.

Brief
The brief.
David Muirhead & Associates designed the interiors of the Palazzo Hotel. The Beverly Hills Hotel. 54 on Bath. Luxury residences across South Africa, and exhibitions at Decorex and Rooms on View. The brief was to give that body of work a site that matched it.

Approach
How we
tackled it.
Interior design sites tend to oversell the studio. Gradient overlays. Competing typefaces. Photography fighting motion for attention. We stripped it back. The portfolio leads. Residential, hospitality, corporate, exhibition: each practice area has its own space. The site doesn't fragment. Photography fills the frame. The copy steps aside. For a studio whose reputation is already built, the job was to give the work a surface without getting in its way.

Practice
The work,
without
decoration.
Finished rooms, in sequence. No labels, no voiceover. Each interior at the volume the studio chose for it.
Website
Portfolio
leads.
Residential, hospitality, corporate, exhibition: each practice area its own space. Projects first, without decoration. The Palazzo Hotel, Beverly Hills, and private residences across South Africa.

Outcome
The
result.
The site reads at the level of the practice. Projects first, without decoration. Each one given the space it deserves. For a practice that built its name without announcing it, the website is what they open in the first meeting.
