The Vaccine App
A free, lifelong health record. The website had to read like one.

Brief
The brief.
The Vaccine App is a free, lifelong digital immunisation record, available on any phone. The product exists because the alternative does not work: a piece of paper that gets left at home before travel, destroyed in floods, lost between childhood and adulthood. We were asked to design the website introducing it: credible enough for a health professional to trust at a clinic, simple enough for a parent managing a newborn's first immunisation schedule. Accessibility and trust had to coexist.

Approach
How we
tackled it.
The site leads with the problem, not the product. Health sites typically reach for clinical authority first. We inverted that: the opening frame is the paper record and everything that can go wrong with it. The structure follows three audience lines from there: parents tracking a newborn's schedule, adults taking ownership of their own records, travellers who need credible proof at a border. Each section is a clear signal that the site was designed for that person specifically. The register holds clinical without feeling institutional. Type hierarchy and generous white space carry the health credibility. The phone mockups do the accessibility work.

A free, lifelong vaccine record. Trusted at the clinic, kept on any phone, never left behind.

Website
Built for
three
audiences.
Parents. Adults. Travellers. Each section a clear signal the site was designed for that person. Clinical without institutional. Trust and accessibility coexisting.

Outcome
The
result.
The product is free, lifelong, and available on any phone. The site reads the same way. It launched with a presence that matched the ambition: replace a piece of paper that had been failing people, quietly, for decades.
