Veld is a Johannesburg architecture practice led by Gillian Holl, twenty years deep in sustainable luxury residential work: hilltop homes, farms, private houses across South Africa. Recognised by VISI, House and Leisure, and the World Architecture Festival.
Approach
How we
tackled it.
Veld's philosophy runs deep: regenerative design, neuro-architecture, places that heal. Writing that out at the top of a site flattens it. We led with the projects instead. The houses on the hill, the farms, the private homes. Photography first, language second.
